Create a functioning clock that visually represents any social issue topic.

Before Coronavirus and digital learning, previous students designed physical, three dimensional, working clocks. Our class was challenged to create and animate digital clocks with extra elements (such as audio) to enhance their effect and meaning.
My clock focused on two statistics. First, up to 85% of women experience sexual harassment at work, and second that only 25% of incidents are reported. Rather than using icons or imagery, I chose to use real names of women who experienced sexual harassment in the workplace. The names in red represent the quarter of women who shared their ordeal, and in pink symbolize those who remained silent. Each name represented a minute in time, and a word relating to sexual harassment signified each hour.
